Today we spent the period watching an episode from the TV series Freaks and Geeks. This series explores many similar themes that are present in Catcher, such as alienation, the struggle to fit in, coming of age and identity, rebellion, and the struggle for independence in a conformist society. It's also really funny! If you were absent, please see me as soon as possible to set up a time to view the video or look into downloading it (Episode 15 "Noshing and Moshing"). Please view the assignment below and turn these into me on block day (Wednesday for Period 8, Thursday for Periods 6 and 7). Please read Chapters 20-22.
